Photographed prior to reopening, the Queenscliff Hotel required a complete visual library to support the launch of the property across its website, booking platforms, social media and marketing materials.

Over several days, I worked throughout the property following the light and documenting every aspect of the guest experience. The project included accommodation suites, bathrooms, dining spaces, food and beverage offerings, architectural details, exterior imagery and drone photography.

As guests had not yet experienced the hotel, the photography played an important role in establishing the property's visual identity and introducing the newly restored spaces to future visitors. My focus was on creating imagery that felt warm, inviting and true to the character of the building while highlighting the thoughtful renovation and heritage features throughout.

About this project

Unlike many accommodation projects, the Queenscliff Hotel was photographed before welcoming its first guests following renovation. The imagery therefore played an important role in introducing the property to potential visitors and establishing a strong visual identity prior to launch.

Over several days, I worked throughout the hotel following the changing light and documenting every aspect of the guest experience. The project included accommodation suites, bathrooms, dining spaces, bars, food and beverage offerings, architectural details, exterior photography and drone imagery.

My approach focused on creating photographs that felt warm, inviting and authentic while showcasing the craftsmanship, heritage character and thoughtful design of the newly restored spaces. By photographing throughout different times of day, including early morning, afternoon, sunset and twilight, I was able to capture a diverse image library that could be used across multiple marketing channels.

The final collection of imagery provides the hotel with a cohesive visual story that supports its website, social media, booking platforms, advertising and ongoing marketing efforts.
